Episode 6 of the competition show saw the contestant compete in a 'Chuck Wagon War' where their modern grills and smokers were replaced with traditional Old West live-fire cooking setup. They lost all use of electricity, such as blenders and mixers. Removed from their traditional spaces, the chefs had to adapt quickly to meet the challenge.

The teams were given five hours to create a hearty filling cowboy feast, using nothing but campfires and their cast iron. No electricity was put towards the stations so the contestants could not use blenders or food processors.
