Kirk Cousins revealed on Netflix's "Quarterback" series he exclusively gets his hair cut at Great Clips. The salon chain is now honoring the Atlanta Falcons quarterback with a one-of-a-kind reward for his loyalty.

Great Clips unveiled its first-ever VIP card Tuesday and awarded it to Cousins. The "Hall of Fade" VIP Card will allow not only Cousins to receive free haircuts, but also anyone in the store who happens to be getting a cut at the same time as the NFL quarterback.

"We love hearing stories of our customers’ experiences in our Great Clips salons," the company's vice president of marketing and communications Lisa Hake said in a statement. "When we heard about Kirk being a longtime brand fan and customer, we saw this as a unique opportunity to not only celebrate Kirk’s fandom but use this as a way to pay it forward with our other lucky customers getting the same great haircut experience."

Cousins noted in the third episode of Netflix docuseries' second season Great Clips has been a constant for him despite his semi-nomadic NFL career, which has featured stops in Washington, Minnesota and Atlanta.

"It's hard to have a go-to barber when you're always on the go," he said.

So, Cousins trusts the Great Clips brand, which has more than 4,500 salon locations across the United States and Canada, and noted the convenience of doing so.

"I can go on the app. I can see what the wait is," Cousins said. "If the wait time is under 15 minutes, I just sign up. Then I can just drive there, walk right in and get right in the chair."

Cousins has generally been happy with the haircuts he gets at Great Clips, which keeps him coming back. However, he also noted he likes the mystery that comes with not having a set stylist.

"When you keep changing who cuts your hair, it’s a bit of a rush because you don’t quite know what you’re gonna get," Cousins said. "Everybody needs a little rush in their lives. I get mine when I go to Great Clips to get my hair cut."

While Cousins likes the thrill a little bit, he still takes action to make sure he is getting the cut he wants.

"Now, I start just holding up a picture," Cousins said. "I took a picture from one of the headshots from a Falcons game program and I just say, 'Can you do this?' That usually helps eliminate any gray area."
