The legendary singer took to Instagram on Tuesday, July 1 to share the happy news that her granddaughter, Daija Jade, had tied the knot. In a surprising twist, the "Through the Fire" icon, 72, was the ceremony's "honorary" flower girl.
In new pictures posted via the social media platform, the enduring vocalist appeared years younger than her age as she stunned in a flowy white boho-style dress with gold paisley stitching. A five-image photoset found the soul songstress walking down the aisle alongside an adorable ring bearer donning a cream-colored tuxedo with a bowtie.
