As you might have noticed, a gaggle of mega-rich celebrities descended upon Venice last weekend for the Bezos/Sánchez wedding, including newly single and ready to mingle Orlando Bloom and—somewhat confusingly—Sydney Sweeney.
And naturally the pair were spotted strolling around the city together, prompting speculation that they could be dating.

But nope! Some "sources with direct knowledge" spoke to TMZ about the situation and said that Sydney is "very much single" despite "swirling speculation." And for what it's worth, she's not dating Tom Brady either (they were also seen hanging in Venice together).
Per the insiders, Sydney isn't "interested" in dating anyone following her split from Jonathan Davino, and is "focused on her career and enjoying life." She and Jonathan ended their engagement a few months ago—which the actor confirmed to The Sunday Times, saying "I'm learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends. And I'm loving it."
Meanwhile, Orlando and Katy Perry's split made news just a few weeks ago—though sources say it's been in the works for a while. "Katy and Orlando have been suffering through the same problems that have plagued them for years," a source told People. "[They had] too much going on in their lives, which makes it hard to find time for each other and iron out disagreements. When they don't communicate properly, their relationship dips to a low level."
This insider noted that the exes have been "been living on an island of stress" and that "sometimes love isn't enough to keep two people with different styles and outlooks on how things are done [together]. It can overshadow the love."
