Katy Perry will not be among the A-listers attending Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's Venice nuptials.
Despite speculation that she's absent because of her split from former fiancé Orlando Bloom, who is in attendance, a source confirms to PEOPLE, "She was never going to the wedding."
Perry, 40, is currently on The Lifetimes Tour, first announced in September 2024. Tour dates will see her performing back-to-back shows in Adelaide, Australia, during the weekend of the nuptials.

TMZ previously reported that Perry wouldn't be in attendance because her tour dates overlapped with the nuptials. PEOPLE has since confirmed that Bloom and Perry have officially called it quits.
Despite not being able to make her big day, Perry joined Sánchez for her bachelorette party in Paris in mid-May. The former news anchor also included Kim, Kris and Eva Longoria.
The group first celebrated with a dinner at Lafayette's in Paris on Thursday, May 15. "The atmosphere was very relaxed and very Parisian," a source told PEOPLE of the event at the time.
The next day, Sánchez was joined by 12 of her friends on a river cruise around the City of Love.

Bloom, 48, was captured arriving in the Italian city on Thursday, June 26, wearing all-black sportswear including gym shorts and a workout vest. The Pirates of the Caribbean actor was also photographed warmly greeting reality TV stars Kim and Khloé Kardashian, as well as their mom, Kris Jenner, over his lunch at the lavish Venice hotel, Gritti Palace.
Earlier this month, a source told PEOPLE that Perry and Bloom's relationship was "pretty much done," adding that they "don't really see them being able to turn things around."
At the time, the source added, "It's been breaking down the last couple of months and isn't looking good."
